Germicidal UVC Light Bulbs and Tubes
Germicidal UV bulbs are often used in water treatment processes and food sanitation, as the UVC radiation they emit kills microorganisms. Extra care should be taken when handling and using germicidal UV lights, as they can be harmful to your health if misused. Wear protective clothing when handling them and keep them away from your skin and eyes. Avoid prolonged exposure to the light when it is in operation. Like black-light UVA lamps, germicidal UVC lights are commonly sold as tubes, either straight or turned into compact shapes. Unlike UVA tubes, germicidal tubes are usually transparent.
