Linear Light Bulbs

Linear halogen bulbs are generally used in floodlights and up-lighters, and are distinctive for their long, narrow shape and double-ended cap. Like most halogen bulbs, they offer a bright light with outstanding colour rendering. Linear bulbs themselves are not usually IP-rated, so if they're to be used outdoors, they should be installed in suitably weather-protected light fittings.
